SMITH
William A, 75 of Newport passed away August 14, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice,
Edgewood. He was a welder in the construction industry. William is preceded in
death by his loving wife Judy and his son John. Survived by his sisters Jeannine
Sanzere and Judy Whitehead, brother Daniel Smith, sister-in-law Rosie Armenti
and many nieces and nephews. Memorials are requested to Special Olympics, Inc,
1133 19th St, NW, Washington, DC 20036 or St. Jude’s Children’s Research
Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Visitation will be held Tues,
Aug 19 from 10am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon at Holy
Spirit Parish, 825 Washington St, Newport, KY. Burial will follow at St.
Stephens Cemetery. Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport serving the family.
