Wade Preston McIntosh November 30, 1951 - September 7, 2024

Wade Preston McIntosh, 72, passed away on Saturday, September 7th, 2024 at his home in Newport, KY. He was born on November 30, 1951 in Covington, KY to the late Bill McIntosh and Dorothy Herald.  Wade worked at Lingo Manufacturing for 38 years, before retiring in 2013.  Wade was a great man and considered himself a father to many and a friend to all. In his spare time and retirement, he enjoyed drinking a cold beer and spending quality time with his family and friends at the Park Avenue Club. Wade was a proud member of the Masonic lodge, Robert Burns Lodge #163 (Trinity Lodge #163) of Newport, KY (The Grand Lodge Kentucky, F.&A.M) and the Bellevue Eagles. He is survived by his children, Bill (Becky) McIntosh of Independence, Michelle McIntosh of Falmouth, and Jim (Amber) McIntosh of Walton. His grandchildren Amanda Purnell, Brenton McIntosh, Brayden McIntosh, Justin McIntosh, Hannah Henry, Myranda Henry, Katelyn McIntosh, Nicholas McIntosh, and Lauren McIntosh.  Great grandchildren Liam Purnell, Gracie McIntosh, and Maya McIntosh. Siblings Joyce (Gene) Banfield, Francis McIntosh, Charlene (Danny) Randall, Jim (Donna) Herald, and Kathy (Billy) Combs. Wade was preceded in death by his father and mother Bill McIntosh and Dorothy Herald and sisters Patricia Minnear and Linda Harmon. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12th, 2024, from 5-7pm at the Fares J. Radel Funeral Home of Newport, KY with a memorial service to immediately follow at Radel.
