Theresa Mary Knowlton (nee Deimling), 78 years old, passed away on January 17, 2025, at UC Medical Center. She was born on October 3, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Carl and Mary Deimling (nee Coy). Theresa attended McNicholas High School and graduated in 1964. She married Kenneth A. Knowlton I (Her Hero) on April 25, 1970, and they were married for 54 years. After retiring, Theresa enjoyed spending time with her family (immediate and extended), reading, crossword puzzles, listening to music and watching movies.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth, her daughter Maria Cruz (Mario), her son Ken (Samantha) and grandchildren Nathan, Ethan and Graham. She is also survived by her siblings Carl (Sherry) Deimling, Bill (Maryann) Deimling, Sandy (Rob) Kiefer, Kim (Ken) Swift and her in-laws Margie, Roger (Jane), Russell, Kathleen and the late Shirley. Nieces and nephews, Julie, Dani Marie, Jennifer, Lisa, Holly, Denine, Christine, Shane, Heather, Michelle, Kelly, Justin and Laura. Also, Teresa, Diana, Lori, Greg, Doug, Suzanne, Shannon, Jamie Sue, Michael Dean, Jeff, Leslie, Johanna, Frank and Georgeanna.

She is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Mary Deimling (nee Coy), her siblings Dianne Mountain, Carol Jean Thompson, Bonnie McGonegle and Joseph Deimling, along with nieces/nephew Chet, Mary, Sherri and Kim.

She always said her greatest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren. We were the lucky ones to have her for our mom/grandma. She was the most amazing mom and made everything so special from birthdays, holidays to everyday life. When she would babysit her grandkids, they had so much fun such as playing hide and seek in the dark and she would play along with them. They loved it when she would have sleepovers with them. She was a kind, fun, loving, generous, compassionate, caring, strong- and open-minded woman.

A Catholic Mass and memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to St. Vincent de Paul.
