Sue Ursula Ernst (nee Potter). Born April 30, 1941, in Fremont Ohio. Passed away at her residence in Cincinnati on February 19, 2025. Survived by her brother, Michael (Deb), sons John (Michelle), Chris (Megan), Mark (Sandee), and Steve (Tina), grandchildren Lauren (Alex), Brandon (Meg), Quinn, Caleb, Teegan, and Bettina, great grandchildren Liam, Mia, and Grace, and many nieces and nephews.
Sue was a graduate of The Ohio State University and was a registered dental hygienist for over 50 years. She enjoyed her work and the many friendships that came from it. She was a big fan of Ohio State football. In her retirement, she traveled with a highlight being a trip to Israel with her sister, Mollie. She also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and playing cards.
The most important thing to Sue was her family. Wednesday night dinners, holidays, especially Christmas were times she treasured. Generous with kind words and encouragement, she always had a welcome ear to anyone who wanted to chat. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to DePaul Cristo Rey High School in Cincinnati in honor of Sue.
Friends may call at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, 5950 Kellogg Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45230 on Saturday, March 8. Visitation 12-2 with a service at the funeral home to follow afterward.
