Sue Ann Beckman December 15, 1936 - January 3, 2024

Sue Ann Beckman, 87, passed away on January 3, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospice. She was born on December 15, 1936, in Louisville, KY to the late Harry and Gertrude Hanshue. Sue Ann graduated from Highlands High School and attended Wittenberg College where she was a member of Alpha Xi Delta. She married William Beckman at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Newport, KY in 1958 and Cluitt Huff in 2003. Sue Ann’s first job was at the Federal Reserve Bank and then transitioned into the job she loved the most – Homemaker and Mother. Sue Ann was always social and active in clubs including Holly Hill Guild, Johnson School PTA, Girl Scouts, DAR, Red Hat Ladies Club, textile/knitting/sewing clubs. She enjoyed antiques, blue and white China, flower arranging, playing cards and her church. She loved to travel and there was not a space unfilled in her home with all the treasures she collected over the years. She is survived by Jennifer (Lance) Parris, Bonnie Beckman (Keith), 4 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and Niece Lisa Shaw. Sue Ann was preceded in death by William Beckman and Cluitt Huff. A service will be held on January 13, 2024, 10am-11am visitation, 11am service with luncheon to follow at St. Luke Lutheran Church: 4800 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church.
