Robert John Ganim
May 6, 1943 – September 22, 2021
Surrounded by family, Robert John Ganim, husband to the love of his life, Judith Ann (Dirr) Ganim, passed into the light of eternal life where his parents, John Habib Ganim and Adele Fakhoury Ganim, and his sister Joyce (Ganim) Gervers, welcomed him home.
Above all, Robert prioritized family, friends, faith, fun, and fishing. Wrap all that up with a sense of humor and a great story to tell and that’s him.
Known to most as Bob, he is also known as Bobbie to his cousins, Dad to his children (and some of their friends), Uncle Bob to his nieces, Papa to his grandchildren. Bob was kind. A gentleman. His home was always open, and to so many, he was known as friend.
Bob’s family was everything to him and he was everything to them. He and Judy met as children and recently celebrated their fifty-fifth wedding anniversary. Always BFFs, these sweethearts remained in love, carried each other, kept it simple, and laughed a lot. A romantic, he never stopped asking Judy to dance.
Bob’s legacy endures through his children and grandchildren, who along with Judy, he loves the most — Cheryl Ann Ganim and her daughter Sophia, John Robert Ganim, wife Connie and children Elisabeth, Anna, Mary and Mitchell, Christine Elizabeth (Ganim) Hall, husband Scott and children Elena and George, and Paul Andrew Ganim, wife Hetal, and children Maya and Sara.
This great man will be missed! Robert Ganim, until we see you again!
