Ricky “Turbo” Stewart Sr., 60, of Dayton, Ky, formerly of Newport, died Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at his home.
He was a crane operator for 40 years. A Broncos fan, he also enjoyed baseball and wrestling. He liked watching Walker Texas Ranger and listening to Bon Jovi, Chicago and Elvis. He enjoyed eating White Castles and spending time with his dogs.
His mother and father Betty and Wallace “Red” Stewart, and brother Larry Stewart died previously.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Stewart; sons, Ricky Stewart Jr. (Vickie), Michael Stewart (Jackie), and William Stewart; daughter, Diana Diggs (Rick); sister, Terri Baker; and several nieces and a nephew.
He is also survived by his granddaughters Katelyn, Hannah, Ashley and Lakin Stewart.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, 822 York St., Newport. Services will follow at 10 a.m. Friday, June 17. Burial will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.
