Marty Ann Robinson December 29, 1929 - August 24, 2022

Mom died peacefully at home on August 24, 2022, attended by loving family. She passed as she planned in the same bed she was born in nearly ninety-three years earlier. As good as it gets. Sincere thanks to all who eased her passage.
Martha Ann Clott was born December 29, 1929, to Edward and Anna Clott, second generation immigrants from Poland and Germany, a policeman and a home maker. Marty was the youngest of four siblings and grew up in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Cincinnati.
Marty and Harry Robinson raised seven children on Sherry Lane in Mt Carmel, they were among the first to move to the suburbs in the early 1950’s. Their children are: Marlyn (deceased 2/1/2014), Steven (Robert Nicolais), Bethany (Roxanne Huston), Mark, Sydney (Lonnie Helton), Shawn (Ursula Gutten Robinson), and Kirsten (David Brooks).
Our Robinson/ Clott extended family includes eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. As the Robinson nest started to empty Marty and Harry successfully pursued their dream to live on a horse farm.  In the mid 70’s with the help of family and friends they built their log cabin and horse barn amid many acres of pasture and woodlands. They enjoyed many years together on the farm until Harry’s passing (also at home) in 2019.
Marty was beautiful, vivacious, opinionated, strong willed, highly social and a lot of fun.
She loved animals of all kinds and had a special affinity for horses and “horse people”.
She was active with the Ohio Horseman’s Council and helped develop the riding trails in East Fork State Park.  She especially enjoyed her annual riding trips in the Rocky Mountains.  Although physically frail near the end, she remained mentally sharp and enjoyed visitors during her final week.  A memorial gathering for friends and family is currently being planned.
The family requests that friends post stories and remembrances to this website.

Your Mom lived a very full life and I’m happy I got to share a part of it with her. She took me on adventures I wouldn’t have had on my own and we never got arrested. So sorry for you lose.
