We mourn the loss of Lynn Olivia Armstrong, 74 who passed away on December 30, 2021 at Forest Hills Care Center in Anderson Township, Ohio. She was born on May 22, 1947 in Cincinnati to Samuel and Shirlee Schwartz. She attended Woodward High School and graduated in 1965 and then University of Cincinnati, where she received an associate degree. Lynn married Lee Edward Armstrong in 1968, they were married for twenty-one years. They lived in Forest Park, Ohio before moving to New Richmond, Ohio to start a family. Lynn worked part-time while her children were young before starting a career at Great American Insurance and Buckhorn, Inc. In her retirement she enjoyed Mahjong with friends and spoiling her three grandchildren and her pets. She was the keeper of many great family recipes and an amazing baker. She was also the loudest voice at every soccer game she attended for her sons and grandchildren.
Lynn is survived by her two sons Brandon and Jason Armstrong and Jason’s wife, Lisa. She is also survived by her sister Sheryel Aschfort, husband James, grandchildren Maxwell, Layne-Grace and Lola Armstrong. Lynn is also survived by her cousin Stephen Blieden, wife Joyce along with many nieces and nephews, Shane Bushman and his children Slater and Sawyer. Lisa Wood, husband Tony and their children; Megan and Adam. Michelle Coleman and her children; Timothy and Kaitlin. Erika Timon, husband Nick and their Children; Ethan and Jack.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; Samuel and Shirlee Schwartz and brother Sandford.
With respect for everyone and an overabundance of caution we will hold a virtual celebration of life. This will be held on 01/19/2022 from 2pm 4pm. We will use Zoom for those wishing to share a story or pay respects.
