Lillian Schleper, age 82, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at Coldspring Transitional Care Center. She was born on February 24, 1939 in Kings Mountain, Kentucky to the late Estill Cantrill and Vernal Gooch. Lillian worked as a nurse’s aide for many years, before retiring. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Lillian is survived by her sons John Schleper and Rich Schleper; grandchildren Madeline Bolton, Colton Schleper, Hope, Schleper, and Trevan Schleper; sisters June Spears and Patricia Stuempel; daughter in law Rachael Schleper; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Schleper. A gathering will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 11am until 1pm at the Fares J. Radel Funeral Home-Newport, with a memorial service to follow on Friday at 1pm.
