Leslie Marie Edgerton August 8, 1984 - May 21, 2024

Leslie Marie Edgerton, 39, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at her home in New Richmond, Ohio.

Leslie was born on August 8th, 1984, in Farmington Hills, Michigan to Ron and Eloisa Edgerton. She met her life partner and fiancé, Andrew Clemenson in 2011 and built a life together in Cincinnati, New York, New Jersey and back to a cabin in the woods in New Richmond, OH. She is survived by her fiancé Andrew Clemenson, her parents Ron and Eloisa Edgerton, her sister Teresa Lucas, her nephew Colton Lucas and niece Piper Lucas. Leslie was preceded in death by her parental grandparents Henry and Betty Edgerton, and her maternal grandparents Abraham and Beatrice Armijo.

Upon graduating Turpin high school in Cincinnati, OH, Leslie attended the Ohio State University and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Design and a Bachelor of Art History. During this time, she helped the Ohio State synchronized swim team reach three national championships. She pursued a career in design culminating in a design director role at George P. Johnson Experience Marketing in Manhattan, NY. Leslie also ran her own sole proprietor design business, coached her home team, the Cincinnati Synchrogators and received the North Zone Coach of the Year in 2024. She was driven by hard work, natural intellect, and a genuine love and passion for design and her sport.

Leslie enjoyed gardening and grew most of her food. She managed almost 5 acres of land, constructing flower beds with her father, and planting flowers with her mother. Leslie loved to travel all over the world and experience new places, a personal favorite place being Frankenmuth, Michigan.

Leslie was resolute in her fight against breast cancer. She partnered with many amazing healthcare professionals and contributed to a clinical trial. She was steadfast in her commitment to health and life.

A gathering will be held on Saturday, June 1st from noon until 2pm, with a memorial service at 2pm at the Fares J Radel Funeral home 5950 Kellogg Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45230. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Cincinnati YMCA Synchrogators and/or The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
