Larry Pennington April 28, 1951 - February 14, 2022

Pennington, Larry, age 70, from Newport, Kentucky passed away on February 14, 2022. Born April 28, 1951 in Hyden, Kentucky and was the son of Edna Pennington (nee Engle) and the late Rex Pennington. Larry was the beloved husband of Joyce Pennington (nee Newman) for almost 50 years they would have celebrated their 50^th wedding anniversary on February 25^th. He was the loving father of Larry Pennington, Jill (Michael) Spangler and Jason Pennington; grandfather of Ashley Chomyszak, Aaron Pennington, Addison Spangler, Alex Spangler, Elijah Pennington, Tabitha Campbell, and Heather Campbell; brother of Arvil (Sherry) Pennington, Joyce Pennington, Gene (Tammy) Pennington, and Sheila (Jeff) Schraer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members, friends and his dog Emilo.

Larry had a passion for riding motorcycles, shooting at the gun range, shopping at flea markets and fishing. He was a proud Republican and Trump supporter, and absolutely loved to watch Fox News. But above all he loved spending time with his family.

Funeral services will be held at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home Newport, 822 York Street, on Monday, February 21^st at 4:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until time of service.
