Julia A. (nee Turpin) Merkle born August 2nd, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She passed away at the age of 74 on February 20th, 2025. She loved spending time with her family and friends and playing bingo. She loved spoiling her grandkids and great grandkids. Julia was preceded in death by her husband John and brother Michael Turpin. Julia will be dearly missed by her friends and family. She is survived by her son Robert Turpin (Rachel); stepchildren: Donna Sarky (John); Johnna Mullikin; Melissa Campton (Howard); John Merkle Jr (Ronda); Joy Rovno (Steve): her siblings: Linda Pruiett (Gary); Jim Turpin (Pam); Jennifer Dotson and 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital or Shriners Hospital. Visitation will be 10-12 with service at 12pm on Friday February 28th at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home 822 York Street Newport, KY 41071 with procession to Evergreen Cemetery.

February 22, 2025 at 3:35 pmI will forever Miss my big sister! Until I see her and all our loved ones again! We were supposed to grow old together but was not meant to be! I have so many wonderful memories to carry me thru! She is with her Honey and all our loved ones who have passed! She loved to Dance when younger so I know she is dancing and no feet pain!
