Jeffrey Scott Long April 22, 1961 - December 21, 2020

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Scott Long, 59, of Melbourne Kentucky on December 21, 2020. Jeff grew up in Brookville Indiana as the son of John Long and Sue Lovins. He was married to Robin Long. He was a father to Kyle (Monica) Long, Olivia and Jessica Long. Grandparent to Easton and Barrett Long. He is survived by his parents as well as brother Greg (Amy) Long, sisters Hope (Kyle) Baudendistel and Shawna Sheehan. He is also survived by many loving extended family members. Jeff was also a parent to our pets Nyah, Zuzu, Nim and Miss Kitty. They brought him so much joy. Thank you to the family, friends, the huge trucking community and all of the people including strangers who have supported us throughout this very trying time. Without you we don’t know if we could have made it through. Funeral and burial arrangements will be private per the family’s request.
