Jee han Park, age 57, entered Eternal Life on June 9th, Wednesday evening, on the eve of his birthday. His tragic passing was due to the actions of a DUI driver. Born and raised in South Korea, he came to the United States in the pursuit of musical perfection. He settled in Cincinnati over 20 years ago and quickly became a beloved member of Saint Anthony of Padua Maronite Church and Madison Ave Christian Church and many other churches. He followed his dreams, progressing through the prestigious UC CCM graduate program. He ultimately achieved the status of Doctoral Candidate, one formality away from completing the even more prestigious rank of Ph.D. from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. His musical talents have touched countless others through the best and worst moments in life. He is survived by his beloved mother, two sisters and brother in South Korea and a brother, sister in-law and niece residing in Canada as well as his American family, Joseph, Steven, Rebecca, Geneva and Adon Sowma. The funeral arrangements will be on Thursday June 17, 2021 at St. Anthony of Padua Maronite Church, (2530 Victory Pkwy, Cincinnati, OH, 45206), 10:00 am viewing, followed by the funeral Liturgy at 11:00 am. A musical celebration of life will be held at Madison Avenue Christian Church (1530 Madison Avenue, Covington, KY, 41011), on July 10, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Should friends desire, contributions may be sent to St. Anthony of Padua Maronite Church, Capital Campaign church remodel. We pray that the Lord God may grant rest and peace to Jee han and consolation to his siblings and family, granting him Eternal Peace and rest among the Righteous and the Just in Heaven.
