Janet M. (nee Baumbach) Willoughby, 85 of Newport, Kentucky passed away June 2, 2022 while fulfilling her last wish to see the ocean in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Her greatest love of all was her grandchildren, whom she adored. Janet loved baking, the beach, crocheting and Elvis. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Willie C. Willoughby, parents Arthur and Minnette Baumbach, sister Judy Curtis, and brother James Baumbach. Survived by her dear children Dale (Karen Ann) Willoughby, David (Kim) Willoughby, Marybeth (Jack) Kemper and Sherry (Dennis) Johnson, 14 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and sisters Jackie Griffin (Morris) and Jean Baumbach. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to be made to The Brighton Center, 741 Central Ave, Newport, KY 41071. Visitation will be held Friday, June 10 from 10am until time of service at 1pm at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
