Iva Johnson Tolson, 100, of Burlington, passed away October 2, 2014. Owner/secretary of H. Johnson Moving & Storage, loved gardening, reading the bible and proud member of Newport First Church of the Nazarene. Survived by children, Henry Clay Johnson, Jr. (Meg) and Beverly Kowolonek (late Tim); grandchildren, Kandi Horn (Tony), Shane Kowolonek, Brenda Raleigh (Michael), Sharon Gilbert (Michel), Hutch Johnson, Hank Johnson, David Johnson and Susan Johnson; 23 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-great-grandson and many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by husband, Henry Clay Johnson; sons, Donald and Kenneth Johnson; daughter, Gloria Wood; grandsons, Mark Wood and Tim Johnson and husband, Ernest Tolson. Visitation will be held Monday, October 6 from 9am-12pm at Fares J. Radel, Newport, Funeral service to follow at 12pm at Newport First Church of the Nazarene. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
