Fred, 65, of Wilder, KY died on Monday, July 20 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood, KY. Retired from CSX Railroad; Fred is survived by his wife Jan, sons Jason (Evelyn) Mains of Ft. Thomas, KY, Brian (Patricia) Mains of Covington, KY and daughter Stacey (Chris) Myers of Union, KY. Also survived by his sisters Judy Nabors, Billie (Daryl Barnes) Sellmeyer and Phyllis Harvey all of Cincinnati, OH, Pam (Tony) Colley of Walton, KY and Sue (Steve) Nevels of Lebanon, OH. Grandchildren; Jonathan Mains, Emily Mains, Hailey Mains, Brooke Myers, his constant companion Shelby along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, July 24, 2015 from 11am until the time of service at 1pm, both at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport, KY, casual attire is preferred (“Fred” attire). Burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Memorials to St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood, KY.
