ROACH

Frances nee Santini, 88, passed away December 12, 2013. She worked for many years at her parent’s restaurant, Grandview Gardens, South Newport, KY. She loved sharing tips and offering advice about cooking and gardening, and enjoyed needlepoint. She was a member of the Alexandria American Legion, Ladies Auxiliary 219, Alexandria Ladies Auxiliary VFW 2305 and a lifetime member of the Newport Elks. Preceded in death by her husband, Ted Roach- Newport Fireman and U.S. Marine; her parents, Pasquale and Rose Santini; and 8 siblings. Survived by her children, Patrick Roach, Ted Roach, Franklin Roach, and Rose (Sean) Redman; Grandchildren, Nathan, Matthew, Teddy and Evan Roach; Siblings, Pasquale Santini, Frank Santini, John Santini, Theresa Santini, Joyce Mardis, Angela Menninger and Antoinnette Howard; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Mon. Dec. 16 from 3:30-6:30 pm at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Cold Spring. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tues. Dec. 17 at 10 am at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring. Burial will follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Ft. Thomas
