Dorothy E. Krieger December 20, 1938 - October 2, 2022

Dorothy E. Krieger, 83, passed away on October 2nd, 2022, peacefully at her home. Dorothy was born on December 20, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Owen, and Eileen Ferguson. Through the years of her life, she held many titles such as acting as mother to her younger siblings at a tender age. She then became a loving wife and mother. She was a warrior when she faced health issues in her 30’s by surviving 14 heart attacks in one night, legally dying four times and surviving cancer a year later. She found a calling as a nurse’s aide, showing compassion to the elderly with a loving hand and a kind word. Her next journey in life was the life of an artist and partner to her greatest love. Together they shared life to the fullest and although her biological family was small there were so many others that called her mom. She always had words of wisdom and a heart that could hold the world. She had many hobbies, but her most favored was to dance and to love unconditionally. Anyone that knew her could say that wherever she was, the sun shone brighter, and that magic filled the air!

Dorothy is survived by her sisters Linda Sue Clifton, and Eileen Timmons. Her daughter Vicky Lawson. Her granddaughters Dorothy McKinley-Williams, and Tony Krieger. Her great granddaughters Aurora, and Kristina. She was the beloved Aunt Pretty to Linda Lee Clifton, and Tessa Clifton.

Dorothy was preceded in death by husband, Robert Krieger; partner Michael Makras. Her son Wesley Krieger, and sister Anna Ashcraft.

Dorothy was the best sister and mother that we could have asked for …. I Came to live with her when I was 12 yrs old and this is why I look at her as mom and Vicky and Sonny as a sister and brother , she was our mom, best friend. Dorothy knew how to make you laugh when things were tough, feel better when you got sick or hurt, she gave the best hugs and you knew you were gonna be okay. I have so many memories I just feel I’d be writing a book ,R. I. P Dorothy until me meet again…. I will love you always to the Moon and Back
