HORNE
Donald Wayne Horne passed away on January 25, 2015 in Cincinnati, OH due to complications following cancer. He was 82.

Don was born on July 25, 1932 in Erlanger, KY to his parents, Delores and Elmer Horne. He proudly served in the US Navy from 1950 to 1954 during the Korean conflict. He attended Milford High School and the University of Cincinnati. He and his wife, Gloria Lee Miller Horne, have been married for 59 years. They started out in Cincinnati and moved to Aurora, IL in 1965. They returned to Cincinnati in 2000.

Don loved to play golf and games. What he loved most was spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed. His children all agree that he was “the best father they could ever have.”

He is survived by his wife, Gloria and his three children, Sharon (Kevin) Dolan, Carin (Rodger) Stutz, and Don (Sherry) Horne, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Norma Blackburn, brothers Elmer, Wendell, and Glenn Horne, and his grandson, Ryan James Horne.

Don’s life will be celebrated from noon to 4 pm on January 31, 2015 at Fares J.Radel Funeral Home, 5950 Kellogg Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45230. A service will take place at 3:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
