Damon McDine, Sr., age 42, of Jacksonville, Fl., former long time resident of Newport, Ky., passed away on Monday, October 1, 2017. Damon served his Country and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death.by his mother, Alma (Candy) McDine and his maternal grandfather, Thomas Elliott. He leaves behind his two children; a son, Damon McDine, Jr. and a daughter, Madison McDine, his wife Chris McDine, maternal grandmother, aunts, uncle, cousins, and a multitude of friends. Memorial service will be held Monday, October 9, 2017 at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home in Newport, Ky. from 4-7pm.
