Bruce G. (Griff) Haskin died unexpectedly March 20, 2012, at home in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born Jan. 14, 1951, to David Bruce and Carol Line Haskin in St. Paul, Minn. He graduated from De Pere High School in De Pere, Wisconsin in 1969. He received his bachelor’s degree from Ripon College in 1973 and received his master’s degree from the University of Minnesota in 1975. His lifetime career was in hospital administration. He married his college sweetheart Anne Edwards on Aug. 24, 1974.
He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and uncle and will always be loved and missed. He made it a priority in his life to make sure his family always came first.
His passion was spending time with his family, learning about history, enjoying music and movies and watching college football. He is survived by his wife, Anne Haskin; children, Andrew (Rebecca) Haskin, David (April) Haskin, Elizabeth (Nathan) Zyduck; three grandchildren, Evelyn, Maxwell and Samuel Haskin; mother, Carol Line Haskin; two sisters, Kate Meeuwsen and Caroline Haskin; father-in-law Richard (Marilyn)Edwards; brother-in-law, Michael Meeuwsen, sister-in-law Mary (Rich) Steinberg, sister-in-law Barbara Edwards and nieces and nephews. The family will hold a private celebration of his life at a later date in Cincinnati, Ohio.
