Bonnie J Huffman, of Fairfield Township, OH, entered her eternal rest, April 23, 2019. at the age of 89. Bonnie was born in Weston, MO, January 20, 1930, living there until her health required her to take residence near her daughter, for the last 19 years, in Cincinnati, then Oxford and finally Fairfield Township.
Bonnie was a historian of sorts, in collecting antiques for which she knew the origin, most from her home town. She enjoyed music, especially the old Christian hymns, talking about hunting for morel mushrooms in the spring; and about her hometown back in Missouri. She loved people, and was a light to the residents and staff at Doverwood Village, where she resided for the last 6 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Rachel Woodring; and her husband of 46 years, Earl L. Huffman. She will be loving remembered by her 3 children; Rachel Mein (Robert) of Pacific Grove, CA; Rebecca Bays (Brad) of West Chester; and Mark Huffman, Weston, MO ; 3 grandchildren, Benjamin Bays, Bryant Bays and Rian Reeder; 6 great grandchildren; and her brother, Lawrence (Gertrude) Woodring of Parkville, MO and their families.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Northern Hills Bible Chapel, 1155 W Galbraith Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231 on Saturday, April, 27, 2019. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m., followed by the memorial service. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Northern Hills Bible Chapel or to the First Baptist Church, 160 Walnut St., Weston, MO 64098.
