December 7, 2020 at 5:51 pmI will never be able to do this in person without tears, but I want to specifically mention to Ruth, Mel, and Mona how sister-like you were to Barb. I know you know this, but Barb couldn’t list everyone in the obituary and decided to keep it to siblings and kids. May all 3 of you, as well as all of the family, find peace during this time. She loved you as much as we all loved her.

December 8, 2020 at 3:25 pmBarb, Mary and I were the three older students in our Dietetic Technician program at Cincinnati State and we graduated June 1997. Barb already had life experience when she started college and very knowledgeable and willing to help others. I noticed how the younger students grew to respect her by the time we graduated. Barb was legally blind and I was from small town USA and we would joke about her directing me while driving in the city. There was laughs, concerns, study sessions, shared lunches and many more memories. Barb had to take two buses just to get to school, that’s determination. She was blessing to know.

January 1, 2021 at 2:45 amBarb’s family, I worked with Barb at Carmel Manor, we became close friends even after our retirements. We liked to go out to eat and just sit and talk. We also played endless games of Scrabble. I will miss my friend, and send sympathy to the family.
