Alta Jean, 82 of Covington, KY passed away Nov 12 at her home. She is preceded in death by the love of her life of 36 years Bill Moore, her parents Asa and Ruby McGaha, brothers Billy, Charles and Stevie McGaha and sister Doris Thompson. Jean is survived by her loving children Jim (Sheri) Moore, Diane (Mike) Pecquet. Ruby Steele and Brenda (Kim) Maxwell, 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, sister Mary Kyle and many nieces and nephews. She was a lifetime member of the Cold Spring Baptist Church and retired from Globe Tailoring. Jean enjoyed teaching Sunday school, working in the church kitchen, traveling and most of all her family. Visitation will be held Wed, Nov 16 from 10am until time of service at 12 Noon at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Burial following at Evergreen Cemetery.
