Alma Short, 93 of Newport passed away October 19 at Rosedale Green. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Lester Short and daughter Vicky Kuntz. Alma is survived by her dear daughters Brenda (Sam) Turner and Glenda (Greg) Hatfield, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, son-in-law Len Kuntz, sister Eva Andreas and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, October 25 from 10am until time of service at 12 noon at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Burial to follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.

October 24, 2018 at 3:57 pmMrs Short was always a gracious, respectable lady who was also young at heart. I know she will be missed. I’m glad she enjoyed such a long, full life with what ultimately became a very large family. My sincere condolences to all of them.
