Alice Spence Vance October 21, 1948 - January 13, 2021

Alice Spence Vance, 72, of Newport, Kentucky, passed on January 13, 2020. Alice was born on October 21, 1948, in Newport, Kentucky to the late Finley and Georgella Spence.  Alice was a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Clarence Vance and her sisters Phyllis Spence and Rose Spence. She is survived by her brother, Carl Spence, her sisters, Mary Spence, Joeann Spence, and Shirley Mounce, her brother-in-law, Blane Reese, her daughter, Rhonda Phyllis Reese, her grandchildren, Kristen Edwards, Kristopher Bock, and Jason Bock, her great grandchildren Coraline Bock, Jackson Bock, Kai Edwards, and Oak Edwards, and lifelong friend Deborah Peebles.

Alice was a dearly loved mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to all who knew her. Her family enjoyed spending time with her often. Her sense of humor and personality were alluring to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.  She would often respond, “You should!,” followed by a smile,  when others told her they loved her. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles and games of all sorts. She adored animals of all kinds and made sure to give her fur babies a life full of love and care. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 5-8pm at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home. Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 10am with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations in memory of Alice to Protect 4 Paws Animal Shelter of Wilder Kentucky.
