Jackie W. Combs November 8, 1959 - February 15, 2025

Jackie W. Combs, age 65, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at St. Elizabeth-Fort Thomas. She was born on November 8, 1959, in Dayton, Kentucky to the late Millard and Lucy Wilson. Jackie graduated from Newport High School and went on to attend nursing school. She married Richard Combs on August 20, 1992, in Bellevue Kentucky. Jackie worked at Brighton Center and Holy Trinity in Newport, Kentucky for many years before retiring. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to the casino, online shopping, and Sunday dinners with her grandchildren, which was her favorite. Jackie is survived by her husband Richard Combs; daughters Summer Wilson Johnson and Jaqueline Deaton; son Lindsay Jones; brothers Millard Wilson Jr. (Kathy) and Joey Wilson; sister Barbra Wilson; grandchildren TaeShawn, Mason, Brayden, Nicholas, Jayda, Jordon, and NyKayla; and a host of nieces and nephews who she also loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Deaton, brothers Brian and Jeff Wilson, and her parents. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 11am until 1pm at the Fares J. Radel Funeral Home-Newport. Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home, with Lance Mockabee officiating. Interment at Floral Hills Memorial Garden.
