James E. Schocke November 7, 1969 - October 19, 2024

James E. Schocke, 54, the life of every gathering, passed away on October 19, 2024 at his residence in Milford, Ohio. He was born on November 7, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Shortly after high school graduation he became a proud member of the United States Marine Corp where he served for eight years. Jim worked many years for the 798 Pipeliners before retiring due to illness in 2022. Until his death he loved riding his Harley, fishing, golfing, and playing Keno.

He is survived by his beloved dog (Greta), mom (Barbara), sister (Kimberly), brother-in-law (Brian), adored nieces (Katie & Abby), brother from another mother (Jeff), aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father (Eddie), Mamaw and Papaw Wright, and uncles (Randy, Jeff & Doug).

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 1pm in Tyner, Kentucky at the Wright Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations directly to the family to be given at their discretion.

    After years of looking for him, i finally found him..and it breaks my heart. Jim and I spent our entire time in the Corps together, from Parris Island to New River. He and I were very close friends. Loved him. I hope he’s up there having a laugh with our other close USMC buddies, Joe Polin and Matt Monson. My sincerest condolences to Barbara, Kimberly and his friends and family… Jimbo was the best. Semper Fi, ol’ buddy!
