Patricia “Patti” Lynn Williams of Wilder, Kentucky was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away on August 17, 2023. Patti was born April 25, 1953 in Covington, Kentucky to Jane and Charles (Bud) Almoslechner. Patti graduated with honors from Mount Saint Joseph College. Patti met the love of her life, Gary Williams, in 1981, and they married June 2, 1990. To know Patti was a true blessing. She made everyone feel welcome, accepted, and loved.
She loved the Kentucky Wildcats and for many years had season tickets. She would cheer on the Wildcats with her mother, Jane, by her side. She enjoyed going to the theater in Cincinnati and spending quality time with family and friends. Patti and her husband Gary enjoyed traveling together and spending time in their hometown. They also enjoyed hosting their annual Kentucky Derby parties at their home in Wilder. She cherished time with her close friends, and in their younger years, she and her friends would take yearly trips.
She worked at Duke Energy formerly known as Cincinnati Gas and Electric. After she retired, Patti devoted her free time to helping those in need. She volunteered as a tutor for young school students, at the Woman’s Crises Center, and at a local retirement community. Patti was a very strong woman. Although she battled with her health throughout life, she always kept a positive attitude and had a smile on her face. She is an example of what it means to persevere during hard times and how to live a life worth living. Patti was always there to offer support and advice to her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parent Charles (Bud) and Jane Almoslechner, and her mother and father-in-law, Bernard and Alberta Williams.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Gary, her brother Michael (Kathy) Almoslechner of Bellevue, KY, sisters-in-law, Debbie McGarrey of Erie, PA, Sandra (Raymond) Fruscella of Encinitas, CA, and Tama (Tony) Samol of Erie, PA, her brother-in-law Scott (Ruth) Williams of Cochranton, PA, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
If Patti were to give her words of wisdom, they would be, “never give up”
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

June 25, 2024 at 5:58 pmI realize this is a long time since Patty’s passing. However I was just made aware. Patty was one of my very best friends in highschool. We had so many fun times together. I remember one time when I was at her house and her dog had given birth to her puppies. The puppies didn’t survive, but Patty gave her dog one of her furry slippers that the dog carried around for quite awhile. So many great memories of our friendship. I know Heaven became much brighter when you arrived my friend
