December 27, 2022 at 4:02 pmCarola was an inspiration to many. Her determination to remain loyal to God, her love for family and friends, and always sparkling demeanor despite the pain and discomfort she experienced the past several years was certainly worthy of imitation. I can’t wait to see her again, happy, healthy, and joyful! ~ Psalms 37:10,11, 1 Corinthians 15:26, Revelation 21:3,4

December 27, 2022 at 6:00 pmI have many fond memories of Carola, and I always admired her strength, determination, and courage. She was able to balance those qualities in a beautiful way and was always a good example to follow. I especially enjoyed hearing stories of her unique past, her ability to grow anything from seed (I’m thinking apple trees) and her steadfast loyalty to our Creator.
I look forward to the promised resurrection and a hug from her. Carola never gave a half-hearted hug. She hugged you like she meant it!

December 28, 2022 at 8:21 pmI remember meeting her many years ago when she was studying the Bible with Sis Cline. It was always a joy to be around Carola. Loved hearing her talk about animals, cooking, flowers, and memories of her family before the war. She was truly loved, and we look forward to a time when we will see her again happy and healthy. December 28, 2022 at 9:30 pmCarola was one of my favorite people, I say that for many reasons! She was a devoted Mother who loved her son dearly! She was very faithful, relying on Jehovah and always talking about her hope for the future. She was quick witted and spunky, had a very strong constitution, overcoming many challenging things in her life. She was generous and hospitable, I would visit to give her encouragement, but always left more encouraged myself, and always, always left with some kind of treat in my pocket! She was my dear friend, I will miss her very much, but I know I will see her again soon, healthy, strong, more witty than ever, with all bad memories erased, ready to serve Jehovah faithfully forever! Isaiah 65:17
