Kay Bradford, 73, passed away on December 7th, 2022, at home. She was born on March 2nd in Harlan County, Kentucky to the late Marion “Red” Brooks and Mabel Brooks. Kay attended Amelia High School. She was married to Harry Mike Bradford for 55 years. She was an Artist with hundreds of paintings sold all over the world. In her spare time, she enjoyed writing music and playing piano. Kay was a devout Christian and enjoyed the worship and fellowship she received throughout the years pursuing her faith at Owensville Church of God. Kay is survived by her husband Harry Mike Bradford, Her sons Harry Mike (Amy) Bradford Jr, and David Lance (Theresa) Bradford, Nine grandchildren Elizabeth (Jonathon) Lovett, Zakk Smed, Taylor Smed, Aundria Bradford, Hannah Smed, Logan (Leanna) Bradford, Isabelle Bradford, Nolan Bradford, Landon Mentzel seven great grandchildren, her sister Debbie (Tim) Hall, and numerous nieces and nephews. Kay was preceded in death by her parents Red and Mabel Brooks, Her sisters Betty Brooks and Linda (Steve) Epperson. A gathering will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers people are encouraged to make donations to the Mayo clinic fight Alzheimer’s and Dementia, or to the American Cancer Society.
