Charldeen Payne Koch, 89, passed away on July 27, 2022 at her home in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born on July 5, 1933 in Hazard, Kentucky where she lived at the time with her mother Clemma Mae Payne (Dickerson). Family was always important to Charldeen and she valued the relationship she had with her sister Betty Robinson (Payne) and brother Robert (Bobby) Dickerson. Charldeen married her husband Fred H. Koch on March 19, 1955 and soon after built a family of her own. She was incredibly proud of her three children Beverly (Alan Schneider), Catherine (Michael Martin) & Anthony. She cherished the time she was able to spend with her six grandchildren (Melissa, Valerie, Anthony Jr., Ryan, Razili and Kimberly) and 10 great-grandchildren (Taylor, Audrey, Breonna, Maleena, Breman, Hayleigh, Diesel, Silas, Adrian & Oliver). Charldeen was a strong and driven woman, who was committed to making herself and the world around her better. Charldeen enjoyed her career at US Precision Lens where she retired in 2014 after more than 20 years of service. Charldeen brought love and laughter into every room she entered. She was a poet, musician, singer, sports lover, cook and an inspiration to all that met her. Those that were lucky enough to enter her orbit these last 89 years will forever remember and miss her. The family is holding a small private service at Mount Moriah. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation (http://participate.lcrf.org/goto/charldeenkoch)
