Thomas J. Schenk, 78 of Ft. Thomas, KY passed away October 24, 2021, at the Alois Alzheimer’s Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Catherine Schenk, brothers George Schenk, Leo Schenk and James Schenk, sisters Therese Jester, Sr. Mary Hope Schenk and Carol Yoder Schenk. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Phyllis (nee Jenkins) Schenk, beloved children Michelle (Pat) McNamara, Thomas, II (Amy) Schenk, Lori Schenk, Lisa (Jay) Feist, Jeffrey Schenk and Nicholas (Jennifer) Schenk, grandchildren Lindsay (Andy), Austin, Sean, Michael, Erin, Noah, Ashley (Jake), William, Ryan, Nathan, Connor, Emma, Jeffrey, Ally, Sydney, Josiah and Landon, great-grandchildren Ava, Skylar, Hazel and Luna, brothers John (Gloria) Schenk and Joseph (Debra) Schenk, sister Catherine Schenk and many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Thomas was a lifelong member of the Southgate VFW, Newport Elks, Knights of Columbus, the Optimist Club of Ft. Thomas and St. Thomas Parrish. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to DCCH, Diocese Catholic Childrens Home, 75 Orphanage Rd, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 9:30am until time of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Thomas Church, Ft. Thomas. Burial to follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Fares J. Radel Funeral Home serving the family.
