June F. Davis September 28, 1940 - July 31, 2021

June F. Davis (nee Fulmer), 80 of Newport, KY passed away July 31, 2021,at the Seasons of Alexandria. She is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, George Davis, Jr. Survived by her loving children Joe Scheidel and Stacey (Jon) Carius, grandchildren Joe (Darcie) Bristow and Chad (Raven) Carius, great-grandchildren Kennedy Bristow, Graham and Monroe Carius and many nieces and nephews. June was one of 10 brothers and sisters all from Newport. June worked at the Newport Police Department for many years taking care of the offices doing housekeeping. She retired from Care Springs of Ft Thomas, where she worked in the kitchen. Her true passion was the horses. In her younger days her and George trained and raced horses at all the local tracks as well as Keeneland. Later in life she enjoyed going to the casino and frozen margaritas. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 5, 2021, from 10am until time of service at 12 noon at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Burial to follow at Evergreen
