EXTRORDINARY FRIEND, WIFE AND MOTHER
If you knew Kathy, you knew her to be a delight -energetic, graceful, kind and always willing to help and participate.Kathy was born in Deer Park,Ohio to Lloyd and Bea Poole. She followed her older brother Ron thru sports and cheerleading at Deer Park High School. Photos of Kathy were featured often in the yearbook, the “Antler”.Kathy met her beloved husband Bob at a PTA meeting at St. Johns grade school in Deer Park. Bob was teaching Kathy’s boys -and Bob went gaga after meeting Kathy – and after a short dating period they were married at St. John’s Catholic Church.Angela Lynn was introduced to the family and the journey continued, moving to Montgomery, Ohio where Kathy and Bob raised their family and enjoyed wonderful friendships, many of which continue today. There Kathy enjoyed spending time at Montgomery Swim Club, Kindervelt, and Sharon Woods Craft Center, where Kathy’s artwork was often featured. Kathy and Bob spent years together trekking to swim meets, soccer tournaments, musicals, and colleges to encourage their children.Kathy and Bob worked side-by-side for many years and proudly opened an art gallery,Gallery 22. This art and framing gallery featured local and national artists and included both of their original works. But Kathy and Bob had bigger plans and set their sights on Key West, Florida in 1995. There they enjoyed many years of Sun and Fun, and continued custom oil and watercolor painting. After years in Florida the couple moved back to their hometown, Cincinnati, Ohio to enjoy wonderful days with their children, grandchildren, and friends.
A special message from Kathy’s children:”To the world she was one, to us she was the world”
