Helen Louise Kiessling

January 10, 1934 – April 7, 2020

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a long bout with cancer.   Born in Huntington, West Virginia, Helen was a graduate of Marshall University and professionally worked as a Medical Technician at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.    Constantly active, she had many hobbies including swimming, synchronized swimming,  sewing, quilting, gardening, cake decorating, riding ATV’s, country music and square dancing.  She enjoyed target shooting with her father in her youth and never one to be constrained by age,  in her 70’s passed the conceal carry course for handgun use.  However, her greatest joy was spending time with her family and being at her family farm in her home state of West Virginia, walking amongst the trees and fields her father, aunts and uncles played in during their youth. As a child she was a self-professed Tomboy,  loving sports and the outdoors.  At one point she swam across the Ohio River and back with her father.    In junior high school a new family with many children moved to the street behind hers.   One of the children was a boy her age named Terry that later became her husband for 66 wonderful years.  Her love and devotion to her family was endless. Helen is survived by her husband Terry,   daughters Deborah Easter (Ron) and Jean Kilpatrick (Keith) and son Kurt Kiessling (Joann).   Grandchildren include Ryan Easter (Stacie),  Tyler Easter (Renee), Dana Endress,  Eric Kilpatrick, Hannah Kiessling, Emma Kiessling, Thomas Kiessling and Samuel Kiessling.   Great-Grandchildren include Isaac Endress,  Keegan Endress, Landon Easter, Morgan Easter,  Avery Easter, Eli Easter and Emmett Easter.

Never a kinder soul has walked the earth.  God bless you Helen,  we love you and you will be missed. Donations can be made to the charity of your choice. A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date.
