John E. Eckert, 71 of Independence, KY passed away March 18 at St. Elizabeth, Edgewood. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Earlene Eckert (nee Dunn), sister Robin (Mark) McCann, sister-in-law Rosemary (Bill) Neiser, many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. John proudly served our country in the Marine Corp. Services will be held privately.
