Linda Sue Lewis June 26, 1959 - April 20, 2018

Linda Sue Lewis (Muko) 58 of Wilder, formerly of Silver Grove, passed away peacefully with her husband and best friend of 40 years at her side on Friday April 20th after a courageous battle with cancer one that she bested time and time again but in the end we think it was her desire to see one more Tom Petty concert that led her to take the greatest trip of all. And you can bet she’s already got the backstage pass. Linda’s generous spirit was contagious and her heart was always open to do for others. Even through her illness she continued to do for others while never complaining about her own illness, in fact if you ever asked how she was her answer was always, “I’m Fine”. She enjoyed working at Wellington Diagnostics and Riverhills Neuroscience for 23 years. She enjoyed traveling, especially if that trip included a kitty rescue or a concert, and if Aerosmith was touring the U.S. well then her vacation was mapped out. She actually got to realize her lifelong dream of meeting the band in 2014 talk about some “Sweet Emotion”. Those who had the pleasure of cocktail hour with Linda never went thirsty especially if margaritas were in the building so if you own stock in a tequila company my advice is sell it now as sources predict sales will be dropping. Linda was preceded in death by her father Edward Muko, her mother Betty Muko, and her sister Sandra Muko. She is survived by her husband Rob, her sister Cathleen J. Balmer (Muko), niece Gabrielle Waldeck and a nephew William Mason, Jr. and her Siamese kitty Libby. You are cordially invited to one last happy hour Saturday from 4:00pm until the time of service at 6:00pm at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, 822 York St, Newport, KY to raise a toast in her honor, a celebration of her life and to wish her the best as she moves on to the greatest road trip of all.
