Robert L. “Bob” Calder, 81, passed away March 17, 2018. Bob was born November 1, 1936 in New York to parents, late Alexander and late Ruth Calder. Bob met the love of his life, Beverly Bernier, while in high school. He joined the US Army and he served in Korea. Beverly and Bob married in 1960. After his military service, Bob graduated from St. John’s University. He enjoyed his 38 year career with Procter and Gamble. He also enjoyed marathon running and was a proud member of Post 318. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; children, Kathy Calder, Carol (Chuck) Van Gorder; Bob (Kim) Calder, John Calder and Jim (Christi) Calder; grandchildren, Ryan, Michael, Bobby, Kelci, Dylan, Nicholas, Kiley, Brooke and T.J.; sister, Jane Forde and many other loving relatives and great friends. Memorial donations are encouraged to Catholic Relief Services (100 East Eighth Street Cincinnati, OH 45202) or American Cancer Society (1-800-227-2345). Services will be held Tuesday, March 27 at Immaculate Heart of Mary- visitation at 9:30 am, mass at 10:30 am and reception to follow. Fares J. Radel Funeral Home serving the family.
