So sorry for your loss. I remember your family from the Nazarene church in Newport back in the 60’s when my family attended there. Your parent’s were friendly with my mom and dad (Wally and Rosalie Shearer – Susan, Paula, Don and Tim) and we later moved to South FL where we still reside. My father passed away this past April 29th from prostate cancer that went to the bone. I know how very hard it is to lose a father! Looking at his picture he looks like he was a very warm and caring person. He must have been to care for you mother through all those hard years and stay by her side. My parent’s had such a loving long relationship as well and were married one month short of 63 years. I am on the Campbell County site as well and happened to see this so passed the information along to my mother. Again, sorry for your loss but we know he is reunited with your mom in Heaven!
