November 1, 2017 at 10:54 pmI am sorry to hear of Margie’s passing. She was a friend to my mother, Barb McCarthy and to my family as well. We enjoyed her wisdom and sense of humor at the Clermont County Genealogical Society. She will be greatly missed.

November 2, 2017 at 3:15 pmBill and Family,
I am so sad to learn of Margie’s passing! She was always such a bright spot at our Clermont County Genealogy meetings, sharing stories, passing on tips, and making the daunting task of beginning a new project seem a little more in perspective – reminding us of all the people who will benefit from our work.
Please know that I am jealously sad for YOUR loss of such a wonderful person (mother and grandmother) in your lives. Margie will be fondly remembered for many years by me and a host of other genealogists! If there are any records that she may have had that you need to dispose of, please call me. I will make sure that they make it back to the Clermont Genealogical Society collection.

November 3, 2017 at 1:22 amDear Bill, Carol,Megan, Noran & families,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother/grandmother, Marge. I still remember her in your front yard, Bill, with a pony ride (I think I remembered correctly?) I am sure you have many happy memories to hold onto. Hold onto one another, as well. Time passes so quickly. Love you all.

November 9, 2017 at 3:26 pmI am saddened to hear of Margie’s passing. I will miss her sense of humor, her sharp intellect and her honesty. She would proudly tell you that she was a “River Rat” as her and Bud were on the river as much as possible.
Margie was one of the founding members of the Clermont County Genealogical Society and served in a number of officer and broad positions.
I drove Margie to and from a number of meetings and will miss those conversations we had.
