Romaine Strassburger Arlinghaus of Crescent Springs and Marco Island passed away on August 20, 2017. She is survived by her beloved and devoted children, Christie and Gene, and her beloved niece, Ann (Rusty) Rich. Romaine centered her life around her Faith, her Family and having Fun. She had a sharp wit and always was ready to talk about Politics, especially, in the last 2 years. She worked tirelessly at fundraising for several non-profits agencies and served on the Board of Directors for several agencies supporting the developmentally disabled for 35 years. In 1997 she started a citizens’ movement in Crescent Springs, which resulted in the Crescent Springs Community Park adjacent to her home in Country Squire Estates. She was predeceased by her daughter, Marianne and her special son, Marc, Mother and Father, Lawrence and Ann Strassburger, siblings, Margaret Mueller, Lawrence (Butch) Strassburger and Rosemary Lange and her husband, Gene. Private Services and Interment will take place at St. Joseph. Mausoleum, Cincinnati, OH. Memorials can be made to Notre Dame Academy, 1600 Hilton Drive, Park Hills Ky 41011. Fares J.
