Randy Smith, 65, died peacefully with his family by his side February 13, 2017, at Mercy Health – Anderson Hospital after a short battle with cancer.
Randy was born September 13, 1951 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Norma (Behymer) Smith and the late William Smith.
He worked for WestRock in Blue Ash, Ohio for nearly 17 years. His interests included singing, playing guitar, gardening, and vacationing in the Smoky Mountains. His greatest joy in life was his grandson, Ethan.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Deborah (Braughton) Smith, mother Norma (Behymer) Smith, son Jeffrey Smith, daughter-in-law Michelle (Hoskins) Smith, grandson Ethan Smith, sister Pam (Smith) Shouse, brother Rick Smith, step-sisters Cathy (Edmonson) Brock and Patty Edmonson, step-brother Chuck Edmonson, spouses of his siblings, one nephew, numerous nieces, cousins and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his father William Smith, late step-mother Marian Smith and infant brother Jeff Smith.
At his request, no service will be held, but a celebration of life will be planned in the near future.
