Becky Breen(nee Hardin, Rosalie), age 78 of Ft. Wright passed away December 25 at St. Elizabeth South. She is proceeded in death by her parents and her brother Fred. Becky is survived by her children, Philip (Donna) Breen, Eric Breen and Kristen (Kevin) Fogarty; 4 grandchildren, Kassie, Trey, Lexy and Hallie; brother David Hardin; cousin Julie Spinks Horan, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.She was an accomplished educator and held a Master’s Degree in Education. She was a voracious reader, and loved to play and teach Bridge. She will be greatly missed by her book club friends and bridge partners. We hope she is getting good cards in Heaven. Becky loved cooking, spending time preparing soups, breads, cookies or one of her special recipes for anyone who was ill. She also enjoyed preparing luncheons or having friends for dinner and a movie at her home. Becky was a former Newport Wildcat cheerleader and always had fun getting together with her high school friends and Newport alum. But more than anything, Becky loved spending time with her family. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 28th, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Lakeside Park, at 1pm.
