Eunice O’Connell, 95, of Newport, KY passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016. Our beautiful family angel is flying home. Her unconditional love on Earth will continue in Heaven, there is no doubt she will be welcomed with open arms. She was just as graceful as the roses she loved. There were no strangers in her eyes. She has touched the lives of so many people, it only took minutes to fall in love with this amazing, fun loving, energetic, kind hearted and selfless woman. She lived for her family and friends, always putting others first. She always made you feel as if you were the most important person on Earth. You will never find a more loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother or friend. She may be gone from this Earth but will live forever in our hearts .We feel so blessed to have had her in our lives and for that we will celebrate. She now walks in the Heavens above with her husband David O’Connell, son Fred “Butch” O’Connell, granddaughter Theresa Smith, brother Albert Schrage and sister LaVerne Vonderhaar. She will be dearly missed by her children; LaVerne Davenport, Jean (Charles) Stulz, Diane Limerick, Vickie Mettler and Dave (Shirley) O’Connell. She was an amazing grandmother to 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Holy Spirit Parish, Newport on Thursday, November 10th from 10 am until the time of Mass at 11 am. Burial will take place immediately afterwards at Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport is serving the family.
