A HUSBAND, A FATHER, A PAPA, A FRIEND, A BEST BUDDY, AN AVID BALL PLAYER AND A ROLE MODEL
Dick Witt, age 80, of Union Twp., passed away September 11, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Ann “Annie” Witt nee Frank; sons, Greg and Janice Witt and Todd Witt; grandchildren, Tony Witt, Kameron Witt, Tanner Witt, Cara Witt, Kaylie Witt, and Ryan Witt; beloved pet, Sasha; his brother, Wayne and Doris Witt; nephews, Chad and Melissa Spangler and Shane “Matt” and Leslie Spangler and many other nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Georgie Spangler (and the late Bob Spangler) and Eve “Babe” and Ron Ackerman; best buddies, Don Meredith, John Weber and the late Hutch Hutcherson, along with many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers.
Dick enjoyed traveling and maintaining an active lifestyle through playing sports such as baseball, softball, racquetball, handball, golf, and basketball. He also enjoyed zip lining and spending a lot time with his grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, 5950 Kellogg Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45230. Casual attire is requested. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dick’s name may be made to Alzheimer’s Organization or to the Clermont County Senior Services Adult Day Care.
