LEE
Kirt, 48, of Newport, passed peacefully August 18, 2016. A proud graduate of
SCPA and recipient of a full scholarship to OCU, where he studied under Jo Rowan
and earned his Bachelor’s degree. He was a member of National Honor Society.
Kirt started his own production company at the age of 21, which led to hold lead
roles in performances across the country in various productions. He leaves
behind his mother, Armina Lee; step-father, Roger Petersen; sister, Bobbie Lee;
nephews Galen Kidwell II, Cameron Kidwell and Linden Kidwell; niece, Armina
Wayman; great nephews, Galen Kidwell III and Vincent Kidwell; his partner, Chris
Spelts and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by
his brother, Vance Raleigh. Visitation will be held Weds. Aug. 24 from 5:00 pm
until time of service at 8:00 pm at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Burial
at Evergreen Cemetery Thurs. Aug. 24 at 2:00 pm.
