Joan L (nee Moore), widow of James Staggs, beloved mother of Julie, Jeff, and Todd, grandmother of Jamie, Todd, Jr., Corbin, Aleah, and Ariana, great-grandmother of Marilyn, McKenzie, Vivian, Parker, Dalton, and Silas.  A retired insurance agent and native of Campbell County, Joan went to glory peacefully on July 26, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital after suffering a heart attack at the age of 82.  She enjoyed recent visits to the Creation Museum, a Reds game, a Willie Nelson concert, and her grandson’s graduation party.  Interment service will be held in the chapel at Evergreen Cemetery, 25 Alexandria Pike, Southgate, KY on Friday, August 29, 2016 at 11am.  Celebration of life event to be held at a later date.  Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport serving the family.
